Steve Paine, OMD (Hong Kong), L.Ac. (CT, HI) is a Licensed Acupuncturist in Connecticut and Hawaii and a Listed Chinese Medicine Practitioner in Hong Kong. He is a Diplomate of the U.S. National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists, a Certified Disability Evaluator, and a Diplomate of the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics.
Dr. Paine earned his Doctor of Oriental Medicine degree from the Postgraduate Institute of Oriental Medicine in Hong Kong in 1989. He also completed advanced acupuncture training at the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, under the supervision of China’s Ministry of Public Health. His academic background includes a degree from Union College in Schenectady, New York.
Throughout his career, Dr. Paine has been a leader in the field of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. He served as President of the Hawaii Acupuncture Association, is a member of the U.S.–China Medical Association, and currently serves as President of the National Guild of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
